1974 Born in Derbyshire.
1997 Gained a BA(hons) in Interior Architecture and Design. (Spent a year out between Universities in the coastal village of Staithes, North Yorkshire, and began to paint. This introduction forged a highly creative kaleidoscopic view, merging cliff houses and sea, appealing to both locals and tourists alike).
2006 Took up painting full-time and eventually settled in Staithes with his own studio.
2008 Travelled in Europe as an artist working on cityscapes. Interviewed by John Sargeant for The BBC One Show.
2009 Now concentrating on rural fishing scenes and Northern cities, 2010 including York, Durham and Newcastle.
